Your card is so cute just the way it is!! I love the colors your chose and the added sparkle. The only thing I might add is some ribbon at the top, but it does not really need it!!

a High School student in our house hold now.

For today's challenge I decided to combine the 2 themes 

and make a card with Shiny Elements and Would You

 Ever Guess Wednesday.  (For WYEGW you have to use 

a Cricut cut that is not a main cut.) 

As you know from my last posting my daughter Michaela 

is leaving Middle School and is on to High School. In our 

School District we only have one High School and it is 

HUGE.  The graduating class this year is around 650. I 

am a little nervous for her but, I know her and she will fit 

is just fine. My daughter is no wall flower and fits right into 

any situation. Since she is not actually graduating I decided 

not to use the "Congratulations Graduate"words that can be 

found on some cartridges. 

For this card I used 3 Cricut cartridges. The card base was cut from 

the Art Philosophy Cricut cart by Close to My Heart. I used the fit 

to page button with a 12 X 12 piece of DCWV paper. This cut can

 be found on page 54. It ends up being 5 1/2 X 9 inches. The 2012

 also came from the Art Philosophy cartridge and was cut using the

Font and Font layer buttons.  I love the little holes that are cut in the

numbers because it makes a perfect place to add some stickles for a 

little extra bling. The 2012 were cut out 2 times with each button at 

1 1/2 inches. The background paper is cut at 7 3/4 X 4 1/2 inches.

  I used some of my scrap paper but, I know this was from an old 

Colorbok stack. 

The second cartridge I used was Wrap it Up for the cap. You can find

 the cap on page 67. I cut each layer out 3 times at 2 inches. (That 

may seem small but the size is not by length but hight) I then

 glued each layer together to give it thickness. 

The last cartridge used is 3 Birds on Parade.  I know funny hun.. a 

cartridge that is all about really cute birds. How can that be used on 

a graduation card?  Well since I didn't actually want "Congratulations 

Graduate" this cartridge has "Way to Go" and I thought "how perfect"

You can find the "Way to Go" cut on page 51 in the phrase section.

I cut it out at 2 inches 2 times for each layer. Once again for 

thickness. I love to have my elements on my cards be thick 

and popped up with a little bit of sparkle. 

As you can see in my second picture I pop dotted all of the cuts to 

give them the lift they need to stand out. After everything was stuck

down in just the right places I added little dots of Crystal colored 

Stickles.  Doesn't that give the card a little extra something.

Jenny so you can start from the beginning. I wouldn't

want you to miss out on the fantastic project for today.

In my family we don't have any birthdays until August

but, we do have an 8th grade graduation in 2 weeks.

My daughter Michaela will be off to High School next

year and I decided to make a special box for her gift.

I can't say what she will be getting because she reads

my blog but, trust me she is going to love it. 

To make this box I cut out 2 circles at 3 inches and 

2 circles out at 3 1/4 inches. The sides are 2 strips of

3 x 12 inch paper that I scored at 1 inch. After you 

fold the scored side up cut slits about 1/4 inch wide 

in the 1 inch section. Then take one of the circle and

add your favorite adhesive to the out side of the circle.

Roll up the strips to make them more flexible. The 

strips are then added to the outside of the circle until 

it meets the other end. Glue the other circle inside the

to hide the slits.  Now repeat for the other sided of the

box. For the top I cut a 5 inch square and glued it to

the 3 1/4 inch circle.  The numbers are cut at 1 1/2 

inches. I decided that they were to simple so, I decided

to add some super fine glitter.  Now I know why I never

use glitter.  It is EVERY WHERE. But, I do have to 

say it does look pretty. I then pop dotted the numbers 

for lift. I made a simple tassel with embody floss.

Welcome to My Cricut Craft room's Card Creating

Tuesday.  For today's post I decided to use the sketch

of the day. 

I have had this idea for a baby card for a while now

and just hadn't had a reason to make it.  Well I think

it fits in this card sketch perfectly.  Too bad I don't

know anyone having a baby. 

This is a very simple card made with a 4 x 6 1/2 card

base.  I added a light green front and a light yellow

for the inside to give it a little color.  The white was to

boring.  The little onesies are cut from the New Arrival

Cricut Cartridge at 1 1/2 inches.  I cut them out twice 

and added pop dots to the center to give them some depth.

I found the small clothes pins at Craft Warehouse along

with the light green twine. I found the "so happy for you" 

stamp in a bin at Craft Warehouse for a dollar.

There are so many wonderful ideas on how you can use over 

100 different Cricut Cartridges.

For today I wanted to show you another fun TP album 

I made for my mom's craft night that I teach once a month.

One of the best tricks to get the TP rolls flat it to iron them.

For some reason when you put a hot iron on the TP roll it 

makes them the flattest I have ever worked with.  With this

trick you will never have to worry about them puckering.

For this TP album I used 7 different Cricut Cartridges.

Depending on the size of your TP rolls is what you will cut

your cover paper for plus 1/2 inch for over lay.  My book 

is 4 1/4 X 2 5/8 inches so, I cut my paper at 4 1/4 X 5 3/4 inches.

I used my Bind It All to punch the holes for the wire but, 

you could use a strong hole punch and ribbon to hold the

book together.  You can't tell in this picture but, I added

a flower and butterfly charm to the ribbon. 

For the front page I cut the flowers at 2, 1 1/2 & 1 inches.

The flowers were cut from Accent Essentials on page 55.

I have found that some of the Bling you can buy is to big

for small books like this but, if you cut them into smaller

pieces you can get them to go along way. 

Page 1 is a simple 2 1/2 inch rectangle from Fabulous Finds

on page 104. I added a triangle paper clip and very small Prima

flowers to the corners with a little bling to the center of the flowers.

The butterfly from Page 2 can be found on the April Showers Cricut

Solutions Cartridge.  It was cut at 1 & 1 1/4 inches. I used another 

section on Bling that I cut apart for the trail after the Butterfly. 

Page 3's butterfly can be found on page 30 of the Storybook 

Cricut Cartridge. I cut the butterfly out at 1 1/2 inches. I also

added a little bling to the corners for that extra sparkle.

The envelope on page 4 can be found on the Cindy Loo 

Cricut Cartridge on page 76.  I love this little envelope. 

When you cut it out you even get a little card that goes in

the envelope so you can write something special.  I cut this

envelope out at 3 1/2 inches.

Page 5 is the easiest page because I just cut a 3 1/4 X 2 inch

rectangle and added bling to all the corners.

For page 6 I thought I would go back to the flowers. These 

2 flowers were cut at 1 1/4 & 1 1/2 inches from the Plantin 

Schoolbook Cricut Cartridge. Here is some more of the green

bling that I cut up.  I love how it adds a trail to the flower.  I 

also added a light yellow brad to the center of the flower.

I love the shape of this oval on page 7.  I found it on the Storybook

Cricut Cartridge on page 49 and cut it at 3 inches. 

I wanted to leave Page 8 open for pictures, journaling or what 

ever you wanted to fill the page with.  I added 3 small pearls to 

each of the 3 corners and an enamel flower square to the last

corner. 

I love making (what I call) insert cards for the ends of the TP 

albums.  You can add pictures, journaling, gift cards just about

anything you would like to.  The cards are cut to fit the TP rolls. 

Mine were cut at 3 3/4 X 2 1/2 inches and the flowers on the ends

were cut using the Tags, Bags, Boxes & More Cricut Cartridge. 

I would have to say that the flowers would fall into the More section

of this Cartridge.  TBBM is one of my Favorite Carts!!  You can find

the flowers on page 107 but, to get them to match when you glue 

them to both sides of the insert you need to Flip one of the flowers.  

I had to add a little stickles to the petals that stuck out of the album 

for that extra sparkle on the ends. 

Now start saving those TP rolls and I hope you go make your own 

album. Because I would really love to see how your turn out.  I

For todays projects I wanted to make a Sweet Treat

for Easter.  My First project is from one of my favorite

cartridges Tags, Bags, Boxes & More. 

You can find the Triangle box on page 125. I wanted you

to be able to see the treats inside so, I cut it out with the 

window option on. The Triangle was cut with the fit to page 

option on. The carrot is 5 inches long and 3 inches wide. 

The green carrot top was cut out using the Accent Essentials

cartridge flower on page 41. I cut them out at 2", 2 1/2" & 3"

I added a little green Bling to the center of the green top and

I think the Orange Bling gives the carrot a little sometime 

extra to make it sparkle. 

For my second project I made a Easter Card using 4 

different cartridges.

The card base was cut using page 71 from Cindy Loo.

I cut it out at 5". The back ground was cut from the 

George and Basic Shapes cartridge at 4 1/2". I also

cut a light purple circle to go in the inside of the card.

The circle is fond on page 108. The Bunny is from the 

Create a Critter cartridge on page 26 and she was cut 

at 3".  I love how many layers she had to give her lots

of depth.  I pop dotted her to give her some lift off the 

card.  The grass is from the Paper Doll Dress up cartridge.

 I found the grass on page 78 and cut it 2 different times

at 5", 4" & 3". I chalked the edges of the grass to give it 

extra depth. "Here comes the Easter Bunny" stamp is an

old Studio G stamp I had and thought it fit the card.
