Today over at My Cricut Craftroom is Card Creating Sunday.

I am spending a week in Washington D.C. with my daughters
& sister and knew that I wouldn't have time to make any
Thanksgiving cards.  So, I made a few ahead of time.  I
really hope you like my Thank You Thanksgiving card.

For this card I used Christmas Cheer for the card base.
You can find it on page 127.  I cut it at 5 1/2 inches.
The Turkey of course is from one of my favorite
cartridges Create a Critter and can be found on page 70.
He was cut at 4 1/2 inches. I did chalk him to give
him more depth. The marquee can be found on the
Storybook cartridge on page 66.  I cut it at 2 1/4 &
2 inches.  I bought the stamp set at Joann's last year
and can't remember what the brand they were. The
ribbon is from the dollar spools at Michael's.

Now that you have seen my cards for today please head
on over to My Cricut Craftroom to take a look at what my
other Design Team sisters have created for today.

I hope you have a great day and please come
back soon for more fun crafts.

Welcome to JME Creations Design Team Day.
For today we were asked to make any type
of a Thank You project. I choose to make a
treat box because who doesn't love a little
Thank You treat.

For this box I used my Gyspy and the
Tags, Bags, Boxes & More cartridge and
Create A Critter for the pumpkin. I added
the box and then stretched it out to fit on
1/2 of a 12 X 12 mat.  Now I can cut out 2 at
a time.  I then added the pumpkin to 2 sides
of the box and welded them to the box. You
can find great Youtube videos on welding
with the Gyspy. That is how I learned to
use my Gyspy.

I thought the top looked a little to plain
so, I cut out the pumpkin in a bigger
size and stamped the Thank You on it.
I also wrapped a 1 inch strip of orange
paper around to keep the top closed.

I hope you liked my Thank You treat box for todays
challenge.  If you would like to see more Thank You
projects from my Design Team sisters please go to:
I know they have come up with some fantastic
projects for today.

Welcome to My Cricut Craft Room's November
100 Cartridge Blog Hop Day 1.

If you are joining me from Erica's blog at
http://www.mycricutcraftroom.blogspot.com

then you are in the right place.

If you happened across my blog and would like to
play along in our fun hop, you can go to
My Cricut Craft Room at
and start at the beginning.
There are many amazing and talented ladies in
todays hop. This is a two day hop so be sure to
come back tomorrow to see the second half of
the blog line up.  The idea of this blog hop is to
show you how to use 100+ cartridges.

My first card I decided to make very simple.
I used Stretch Your Imagination and Storybook.
The squares are cut at 1 1/2 X 1 1/2 inches.  All
the background paper came from 2009 DCWV
Spring Pack.  I cut the turkey at 4 1/2 inches.
I bought some sentiment stamps from Erica
not to long ago and I am in Love with them.
The stamps are from Pink By Design.  This
one is called Simply Everything.

For my second card I used Doodlecharms, Christmas
Cheer & Paper Doll Dress Up.  I have always loved
Doodlecharms!!  But, because it is one of the first
cartridges Cricut made it doesn't have very many
layer options.  To make the turkey I cut it out 2
times. And then 1 more with the blackout option.
I then hand cut out the turkey legs.  The "lettuce"
is the grass from Paper Doll Dress Up. And to
make the card I welded two tags from Christmas
Cheer on my Gyspy.  This sentiment comes from
the Simply Everything set also.

I pop dotted the turkey leg and the turkey to give
it some depth.  I them added some extra color to
the inside for a little pop.

I hope you enjoyed my Thanksgiving cards
for todays blog hop. Now please head on
over to my DT sister Melissa for another
wonderful project.
