Welcome to Addicted 2 Scrapping Design Team
2012 New Years Blog Hop.

If you are joining me from Canica's blog at:
then you are in the right place.

If you happened across my blog and would like to
play along in our fun hop, you can go to
Live Love Papercrafting at:
and start at the beginning.
For todays hop I made a very simple New Years
card. The card base is 6x6 and the black
background was cut 1/4 inch smaller. I cut
the 2012 out using the Cindy Loo Cricut
cartridge at 2 1/4 inches. Added the white
ribbon and a little bling and my card was
done.
I call these "frizzles".  My sister saw something
like these at a store a few weeks ago and she
decided to make the silver ones.  I Thought "I have
lots of color pieces of the garland at home" So I
made my own colorful ones. They are so easy
to make. Now that Christmas is over go to the
store and look for the tinsel like garland.  Cut
it in to 4 to 5 inch strips. Get out your skewers
and cut them down to size. Now comes the hot
glue gun. Put a dab of glue on the end of the
stick and start to roll till you get to the end. I
found that slow and steady was the best way to
get them to be fluffy. I would have to say our
homemade "frizzles" look better than the ones at
the store and they were a lot cheaper.
You may ask what are "frizzles" used for well,
to dress up your New Years drinks of course.
I hope you have a fantastic and safe New Year.

I have decided to have a surprise Blog Hop

Welcome to JME Creations Design Team Day.
Jamie asked the team to design a project
around a New Years theme.

I choose to make a very simple New Years
card.  I used the Winter Woodland Cricut
cartridge to cut out the 2012.

The card is on a pre made card base (5X6).
I trimmed the printed paper down 1/2 inch
smaller than the card base.  Pop dotted the
2012 and added a simple ribbon bow.

I hope you loved my very simple New Years
Card for todays challenge. If you would like to
see more New Years projects from my Design
Team Sisters please go on over to:
I know they have come up with some fantastic
projects for today.

Sweet Wishes, Sharon

Welcome to JME Creations Design Team Day.
Jamie has asked the team to make any type of
Christmas project.  I choose to make bottles
of Hot Chocolate for my daughter's teachers.

As you can tell I use recycled Starbucks bottles.
To get the VERY sticky label off I used a product
called Goo Gone.  After you peel the label off
wipe the bottle with the Goo Gone then the
stickiness is all gone.

I used Tags, Bags, Boxes & More to cut the
tag. You can find the tag on page 91. I cut
them out at 4 " using the hole option and the
shadow option. The holly can be found on
page 112 of the Christmas Cheer Cartridge.
It was cut out at 2" with the blackout option.
I used the paper stack from Michael's called
Jolly and Bright by Recollections. The ribbon
is from American Crafts Elements. The Season's
Greetings stamp is another one of my wonderful
dollar stamps.  I love when I find just the right
stamp.

I added 6T (large) of Hot Chocolate to the
bottom of the bottles, 2T (large) of chopped
chocolate chips & then filled to the top with
marshmallows. I found the candy sticks at
Walmart in the Christmas section.

If you would like to make your own bottles
of Hot Chocolate here is the web site I got
the recipe from.  It is really good.

I hope you liked my Hot Chocolate treat for
todays challenge. If you would like to see
more of my Design Team Sisters Christmas
projects please head on over to:
I know they have some wonderful projects.

did a fabulous job on this Blog Hop Please make sure
to check out each Blog and tell them how much you
loved their projects.

I'm in a Christmas Stocking SWAP with a friend
over on the Cricut message board and she Loves
Owls and birds.  I thought why not make her
a little Owl in a Tree.  Isn't She Cute!!

I cut the tree trunk and the tree top out by hand.
I used George to make a pattern to cut the circles
and Create A Critter for a pattern for the Owl.

I used anti pill fleece for the tree and felt for the
Owl. I really tried to use my Cricut to cut her out
but even with the deep cut blade the Cricut just
tore up the felt . For added stability I ironed on
wonder under to the felt. I had to hand cut out the
ears and feather.  Her eyes are also drawn on with
a black sharpie.  All little girl Owls need something
pink so, I added a two toned pink flower to her.

I have not given away any Blog Candy in a long time so
why not today??  So, my Blog Candy for today will be
a wonderful Christmas surprise!!  Trust me you
will LOVE it!!  If you would like to be entered into

Snowman Project

Welcome to JME Creations Design Team Day.
For today we were asked to make a Snowman.
I choose to make a Snowman card from the
Hello Kitty cartridge.  I have had some really
bad migraines for the last few weeks. So, I
decided to go really simple for todays project.
Because honestly my head hurts to think. And
who doesn't love Hello Kitty.
I cut the Snowman card on page 77 out
at 6 inches.  He is so simple to make
just follow the guide lines that are cut
out for you.

I hope you liked my Very Simple Snowman for todays
challenge.  If you would like to see more Snowman
projects from my Design Team sisters please go to:
I know they have come up with some Wonderful
projects for today.
