Or the chance to be entered into our fabulous giveaways!!
For todays project I would love to share with you a Birthday
Banner I made for my nieces 3rd birthday. She had a Busy
Town Birthday party. I wanted to make the banner so it
could be used year after year and it could also be used for
her sister. So, I make it in bright cheerful colors and the
apples could be replaced with flowers, cupcakes, balloons
or any other theme they might come up with in the years
to come. I have always had a hard time taking pictures of
banners so, I tried to break the banner into 2 pictures.

I used the Birthday Bash Cricut cartridge to make the flags and
the letters. The flags I used can be found on page 62. I cut them
at 8 inches so I could use up some of the 8 1/2 X 11 paper I have
lots of. The flags end up being 8 X 8. I love how the shadow and
the base go together to great. I added some white dots and dashes
to add a little extra border.

The letters were cut at 2 1/2 inches and backed with black to give
it the shadow they needed. I dotted all the letters with crystal ice
stickles for more texture because I thought they looked to flat.
The pinwheels were cut in 2 strips of 2 x 12, punched with a
Martha Stewart paper punch folded at each dip in the punch
and then glued together. If you don't know how to make these
pin wheels please leave me a comment and I will give you detailed
directions. I apple came from the Doodlecharms cartridge and was
cut at 8 inches.

Thankful Thursdays Designer's Choice Blog Hop

Welcome to the Thankful Thursdays Designer's Choice
Blog Hop, brought to you by Crazy About Cricut. If you
are joining me from my Design Team Sister Jenny at:

Then you are in the right place.  If you just happened
across my blog and would like to hop along with me
and my DT sisters you can head on over to:

And start at the beginning.  I know all my DT sisters
did a fantastic job on the hop today. So, please make
sure to check out each of their Blogs and leave my
sisters some blog love.

For todays project my daughter Emily decided to use one
of our favorite cartridges. Tags, Bags, Boxes & More.
To make this Bunny box.  Isn't she cute?

She used the triangle box found on page 125 with the
black out feature on.  She wanted her bunny box to be
as big as it could be so, she used the fit to page feature.
Her Bunny ended up being 3 3/4 inches tall and has
a 4 inch base. She fits a good amount of candy inside
of her so, she would make a great treat for anyone on
Easter morning.  Her feet came from the George and
Basic Shapes cartridge on page114 and her ears can
be found on page 96. After a little free hand drawing
and some pink chalk she is all done and ready to be
give away.

I hope you loved Emily's Bunny for todays Blog Hop.
Please now visit my Design Team Sister Cheryl to check
out her project for today.  You will LOVE it especially if
you have very active kids and need a fun activity for them
to do.  You can find her over at:

Here is the line up incase you get lost or need to stop along
the way.

I know Emily loved making this Bunny for todays Blog Hop
and she hopes she has inspired you to try to make one on
your own. We both hope you have a fun and crafty day!!

Addicted 2 Scrapping Spring Blog Hop!

blogs so you don't miss out on all of the gorgeous projects they
are creating...and stop by our Facebook page, Addicted 2
Scrapping, and LIKE us if you haven't already!
For todays project I made a cute and simple Easter card.

I used a simple 4 1/2 X 5 1/2 card base and cut a
floral background paper at 4 X 5. I used my Gyspy
to place the bunny off the side of the mat so I didn't
have to cut out the whole bunnies head. The bunny
is from the Doodlecharms Cricut cartridge and can be
found on page 88. I sized the bunnies head at 3.99 X
4.76. I  thought she looked to white and needed a little
highlighting so, I chalked her in light brown.
The eyes and whiskers are drawn on with a black
fine tip Sharpie and I used cotton candy stickles on
the nose. I used pink eye shadow to add the pink to
the insides of her ears. I then cut out 2 blue flowers at
2" and 2 pink flowers at 1 1/2". You can find these flowers
on the Walk in My Garden cartridge on page 82. After
I curled up the edges of the petals I added a little bling
to the center of each flower. And to give them a little
lift I pop dotted them up.

I hope you enjoyed my Easter card today.

In case you get lost along the way, here is a list of the Addicted 2 Scrapping Design Team members hopping today:
