And start at the beginning. I know all my Design
Team Sisters did a fantastic job on this Blog Hop.
Please make sure to check out each Blog and tell
them how much you loved their project.
For todays project I decided I would try to weld a
heart on the cake slice from the Tags, Bags, Boxes
& More cartridge. You can find the cake slice on
page 126. I haven't used my Gyspy in a long time
and though I should get back to using it more often.
I cut out the box at 11.95 X 9.59 and placed the heart
from TBBM in the center of the cake slice.
My daughter Emily (11) asked Santa for the new
Flower Shoppe Cricut Projects cartridge for Christmas
and I asked to borrow it to make this flower. I love
how the petals are in the shape of hearts. You can find
this flower on page 14. I cut it out at 2 inches. I can
tell you it is not the easiest flowers to put together.
I will be making more of them to get a better idea of
how to make them easier.
The ruffles on the sides of the boxes are from one of
Martha Stewart's paper edge punches. And the Love
stamp is a very old Studio G $1.00 stamp. I reused the
heart that was cut out from the "window" and placed it
under the flower after I chalked the edges to give it some
depth. The "window" is a sheet protector that I cut to fit
the heart shape. I filled the box with crinkle tissue and
Hershey Kisses because who doesn't LOVE chocolate!!
Who Doesn't love Blog Candy!! If you would like
