This weeks challenge JME Creations

Over at JME Creations the Design Team was
Challenged to make anything using an Owl.

I made this cute Owl card by using the Wild
Card Cricut cartridge and the dot embossing
folder for the cuttlebug with lots of pink ink
chalk.  The hearts are cut out from the Doodle
Charms Cricut cartridge.

The Owl was cut using the fit to page option. Which
makes it 6 inches.  I also used the blackout option
because I only needed the base of the card.  The
layered look is achieved by cutting 1 inch wide
strips of paper, punching them with a border
punch (I used a Martha Stewart punch) After
the strips are punched I ran them trough the
cuttlebug using the dots folder.  Then came the
pink ink chalk (I love this stuff). Finally you just
glue layer on top of layer until you get the look
you want. I cut the eyes out twice.  First at 6 inches
and them at 7 inches. I only did this because I wanted
the black to cover up the hole in the brown eye.  You
will have to cut by hand your own beak. The hearts
were cut at 2 1/4 inches & 2 inches.

Please head on over to JME Creations to see what
my Design Team Sisters have come up with for
this challenge.  Please go to:

Thank you for stopping by.  I hope you loved my
take on the Owl Challenge. Come back soon.

Sweet Wishes, Sharon
