Mini TP roll album

I decided to join a swap over at the Cricut MB.
I have done many scrap swaps before but, they
were for items or supplies you can't find in your
area. This time I thought I would jump into the
actual crafting part of swaping. And I would have
to say I had a BLAST making this Mini TP roll for
my swap partner Crissy. I hope she loves it as much
as I love how it turned out.

More pages on the next post. The whole
album was made with 6 TP rolls.

I have found out one of the tricks to get
the TP rolls flat is to iron them. Yes, I
said iron. For some reason when you iron
them it makes them the flattest I have ever
worked with. In the past I have just used a
bone folder and flattened the edges but, they
still puckered up. With this trick you will
never have to worry about them puckering.

Now that you have seen mine go try
and make your own. And don't forget
to use your iron.

Thankful Thursdays DT March 3rd

This week we were asked to use a Leprechaun
in our project. I choose to use the Leprechaun
& Shamrock from Everyday Paper Dolls.
(cut at 4 inches) The tag is from Bags, Tags,
Boxes & More. (cut at 5 and 4 1/2 inches)
(one of my favorite carts) I bought the cute
little jars at Ikea. They are only $2.49 for 4
of them. Emily took this to school to give to
her teacher. Who wouldn't love to get some
Leprechaun Kisses!

This week the Design Team was asked to make
Valentine Classroom treats or something that could
be passed out to a lot of people. I decided to make 3
different crafts this week. The easiest and fastest
treats to make were Sour Cream containers. (Since
I did have to make 60 of them for both daughters
classrooms) The second project was for Emily's
teacher. I took Hershey bars and wrapped them
in scrapbook paper. Then I used one of my favorite
tools the crimper and sealed off the ends. I think this
gives it a neat effect. The final project were the Valentine
Post it notes for my Secret Sister on the Cricut Message
Board. I love making these simple projects that look
like they took forever to make.

I hope you have a Fabulous Valentines Day
Sweet Wishes, Sharon

Thankful Thursdays DT

Jenny over at Crazy About Cricut thought
it was a good idea to change our design team
name. Instead of the Family Friday DT we will
now be the Thankful Thursday DT. I think this
is a great move because as she says "there are a
lot of blog hops and other DT do their postings
on Fridays". So, look out for new postings on
Thursdays.

Family Friday's Design Team

This week on Crazy About Cricut we were
asked to make a special treat that your
children like to make on their own. Emily
LOVES making snack mixes. This one has
Annie's Organic snack mix with cheddar
bunnies, golden raisons, banana chips, dried
cranberries, dried pineapple, dried mango,
sesame sticks, peanuts and cheerios.

Emily wanted to give you an idea of what
you could give out as a fun snack at a party.
