Post-It Blog Hop

Welcome to Crazy About Cricut and

the Post-It Blog Hop! If you are joining

me from Kassidy's Blog at

http://www.inkingitupcrazy.blogspot.com/

you are in the right place!

If you just happened across my blog and

would like to play along with our fun hop,

you can go to Crazy About Cricut at

http://crazyaboutcricut.blogspot.com/

and start at the beginning.

The theme for this blog hop is Post-It

Craft Paper. Each blogger has created

a project with this awesome paper. Be sure

to visit each blog for fun ways to use this

paper and some fun BLOG CANDY!

I have made 3 project to show you the

versatility of this wonderful paper. The

other day (while it was pouring outside)

my daughter Emily & I were wishing for

SUN and SUMMER. When we though how

perfect would it be to show you how

to make some cool treats.

Our first project was made using the

Sweet Treats Cartridge. We cut the

ice cream cone out at 5 1/2 inches.

It looked to flat and plain so, we ran

the layers through the cuttlebug to

give it some depth. I love how well

this paper takes chalking or inking.

It does not rub off or smear.

The next project we did was the popsicle
from the Doodlecharms cartridge. Once
again we cut this out at 5 1/2 inches. We
did run the layers through the cuttlebug
but, this time we tried to sand or scuff the
embossed paper. I can tell you that with
this paper having a white core we loved how
well this effect works.

Emily thought our last project should
show how well this paper works with
LOTS of layering. This kitty was cut using
one of Emily's favorite cartridges. Create a
Critter. We cut the kitty out at 5 inches.
All 4 layers went on so easy. I think one
of the best things about this paper is how
easy you can peel it off and stick it back
down again with out damaging the paper
underneath.

With this being my first Blog Hop I
though I would celebrate with some
Blog Candy for you. If you would love
some Blog Candy please leave me
some Blog Love below.

~I am giving away a sample of all 24
colors of the Post-It Paper, 2 really
cute studio G stamps, a white chalk pad,
a white gel pen and some BLING~

I hope you enjoyed our projects. If you
think you might have missed someone
you can go back to the beggining at

I also make "card kits" for my grandkids so they can make their own cards, just like Grammy does. This paper would be spectacular for making embellishments with my Cricut for those kits!
